Strong earthquake shakes near Goroka, Papua New Guinea

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake was reported 42 km NNE of Goroka, Papua New Guinea, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake occured Monday 22nd December 2025 11:31 GMT and struck at a depth of 110 kilometers.
